WHAT TO EXPECT:

• MUSIC: super fun, eclectic, high-energy, dancable DJed music from various genres: alt, 80's, soul, glam rock, latin, fun rap, world, swing, club, techno, disco, brit-pop, funk, r&b, modern

• DANCE STYLE/ABILITY: open anyone that likes to move and move however you want: club dance, partner dance, contact improv, improvise, or any other way of moving; if you consider yourself a non-dancer, a casual dancer, or a dancer-dancer, Super Fun Dance is a welcoming, open environment to for you to thrive
• SCENE: not much of one really; just people of various ages/abilities who enjoy dancing
• ALCOHOL, ETC: nope; our intent is to have a safe, open, non-club-like envirnoment where people come to have fun purely through dance
• DRESS: however you want; dress up, dress down, wear shorts, where sweats, whatever; no shoes please
• VOLUME: nice full sound; not ear-splitting-have-to-yell-over
• LIGHTING: mellow; not too dark/not too light with some fun stuff, but certainly not heavy duty club lighting
• THE SPACE: Studio Soma has a beautiful, large, open dance/movement space.
